Dr. Esen Akpek is the Director of the Ocular Surface Disease and Dry Eye Clinic at the Wilmer Eye Institute of Johns Hopkins. This 1991 graduate of Hacettepe University Medical School has developed into one of the world’s top ophthalmologists. Dr. Akpek is a recognized expert in corneal transplantation and dry eye syndrome and also the Recipient of the Cora Verhagen Immunology Prize.
