Beril Dora: Undergraduate education at Northwestern University

In the first of Beril Dora’s four part series, she meets with one of Northwestern’s most successful Freshman, Alia Wilhelm. This product of the American School of Paris shares the steps she took to adjust to the new culture and settle in as a student at one of the World’s Finest Universities. Alia is just one of many ASP graduates to succeed as one of America’s top international students.

Beril Dora was born and raised in Ankara, Turkey. She graduated from Bilkent University Preparatory School, Ankara in 2009. She was the Student Council President, Volleyball Captain, and Secretary General of MUN at her High School. Beril is currently a sophomore at Northwestern University. She is studying Economics, Business Institutions and Psychology. Beril is the Freshman/Social Chair of Turkish Student Association, a Director of Institute for Student Business Education, Philantropy Chair and Greekbuild Chair for Kappa Alpha Theta sorority and a Research Assistant at Kellogg School of Management and in the Political Science Department of Northwestern University.
