Yalin Buyukdora: Leadership by Example

Yalin Buyukdora is another example of how the Koc High School of Istanbul prepares students for extreme success. In addition to being one of Northwestern’s top students, he is a leader at Northwestern’s International Student Association and one of the school’s top intramural athletes. Beril Dora was born and raised in Ankara, Turkey. She graduated from Bilkent University Preparatory School, Ankara in 2009. She was the Student Council President, Volleyball Captain, and Secretary General of MUN at her High School. Beril is currently a sophomore at Northwestern University. She is studying Economics, Business Institutions and Psychology. Beril is the Freshman/Social Chair of Turkish Student Association, a Director of Institute for Student Business Education, Philantropy Chair and Greekbuild Chair for Kappa Alpha Theta sorority and a Research Assistant at Kellogg School of Management and in the Political Science Department of Northwestern University.
